Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Digi East Wholesale Ltd ("Digi East", "we", "us", "our") is a UK-based wholesaler of ambient East Asian snacks and drinks. This policy explains how we use the personal data we collect from you when you use our order website.

What data we collect

Digi East collects the following data:

  • Personal and business identification information — your name, business or trading name, email address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses.
  • Order and transaction information — the products you buy, your order history, and payment method. We do not store full card details; these are handled by our payment provider.
  • Account information — your login username and password for our order site.

How we collect your data

You directly provide Digi East with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:

  • Register for an account or place an order on our website.
  • Contact us by email, phone or through our website with an enquiry, feedback or complaint.
  • Use or view our website via your browser's cookies.

We may also receive your data indirectly from:

  • Our payment processing provider, who confirms the status of your payment.
  • Credit reference and fraud-prevention agencies where we offer trade credit accounts.

How we use your data

Digi East collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order and manage your account.
  • Arrange delivery and keep you updated on its status.
  • Manage payments, invoicing and any trade credit account.
  • Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
  • Email you special offers and product information, where you have agreed to receive marketing.

When we process your order, we may share your data with, and use information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases and assess trade credit applications.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share your personal data with partner companies for their own marketing.

How we store your data

We securely store your data on servers provided by reputable hosting and software providers located within the UK or European Economic Area. We protect it using appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and limiting access to staff who need it for their role.

We keep your customer and order data for 6 years after your last transaction with us, in line with HMRC requirements for retaining business and tax records. Once that period expires, we securely delete electronic records and confidentially destroy any paper records.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about our products and special offers that we think you might like. You will only receive marketing from us if you have given your consent, and you can opt out at any time.

To stop receiving marketing, email admin@digi-east.com or click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email.
